The American Firearms Association has just released this statement concerning the gun control deal Gun Owners of America (GOA) has cut on Capitol Hill in DC:
The Omnibus “deal” Mike Johnson, Republicans and some gun groups like Gun Owners of America are selling to gun owners is a raw deal and should be rejected.
The “deal” extends the unconstitutional “Undetectable Firearms Act” for another 7 years.
It continues funding Biden’s red flag gun confiscation, executive order “national gun registration,” pistol brace ban enforcement, and gun “buy back” programs, 93% of current ATF funding to attack our 2A rights, in exchange for a 7% cut to ATF and no more VA reporting to the NICS.
For decades at the state and federal levels, we’ve watched gun groups cut deals that end up screwing gun owners and our 2A rights for years to come.
Gun owners lose, and the gun-grabbers win deals like this.
REPUBLICANS NEED TO ABOLISH THE ATF.
